What Ledgerly does

Ledgerly is a personal finance dashboard built around one idea: budgeting works best when it is simple enough to keep up every day. You record what you earn and spend, group spending into categories like groceries, rent, and utilities, set monthly budgets from your real income and recurring bills, and watch your savings goals grow.

How it works

• Record transactions. Log income and expenses with a description, amount, account, and category on the Transactions page. Filter by date range, account, type, or category, and export everything to CSV.
• Plan your month. Enter your income sources and recurring bills on the Income & bills page so budget figures reflect your real situation instead of placeholders.
• Review by category. The Categories page shows where your money actually goes, and lets you recategorise any entry.
• Track goals. Set savings targets on the Goals page and follow your progress.

Private by design

Ledgerly stores everything in your browser's local storage. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no server holding your financial life. Your numbers stay on your device; you can export them to CSV at any time and delete them by clearing your browser data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How the site is supported

Ledgerly is free to use and is supported by advertising displayed through Google AdSense. Advertising keeps the tool free without requiring your financial data.
